Camping over Independence Day
Camping at Camp Hale. It was the training site for the 10th Mountain Division, the "Fighting Panda's." It was the winter mountain warfare training site for WWII.

~~ Barb's 'Girls Trip' to Vegas ~~
A wonderful break. I can't wait till the next trip...Ojo Caliente perhaps or even a Cabo cruise. Stacey and I stayed at 'The Mandalay Bay Resort.' Beautiful! I look forward to going back.

We golfed at a great little 9-hole Calaway course close the airport... VERY CLOSE.
We went to the Shark Exhibit at our hotel. Lots of interesting sea life.
Walking to Ceasars Palace down the strip on our way to see a Food Network Cooking Challenge. The secret food ingredient was lobster. What a delightful event!
In Vegas we saw two shows: 'Mamma Mia' and 'Le Reve.' Both thrilling and well worth seeing. The stunts the actors performed were beyond mind-boggling. The food in Vegas was awesome, the hotels were amazing and the golf was fantastic. A much needed trip.
