Our June trip to Grandpa and Grandma's new home in Spring Hill, Florida. We met Uncle Ron and Aunt Rasma's family for a wonderful lunch. I tried to sneak in a few pictures.


We had lots of fun playing the piano with Grandpa, driving the golf cart, swimming, driving the golf cart, playing cards, driving the golf cart, playing Shuffle Board, driving the golf cart, playing Pickleball and finally, driving the golf cart. Sorry Grandma and Grandpa about draining the battery... :-)

Rob's 5th and 6th grade Intermurals Team. They met during the school year 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. for a variety of sports playing. You name it, the played it. Lots of fun.

Scout Camping at the Valhalla site in eastern Colorado. The boys got to practice rifle shotting. For some it was their first time.

Band concert May 6... with certificates and a little celebration at Dairy Quenn afterwards.

Above and in the background are Drew's children: Duncan and Amanda with Rob. With plenty of sitting space outside under awnings and with comfortable lawn chairs, there was room for the 100+ attendees. :-) Below is Barb with Mike's part-time assistant, Jessica Mosier.

Food fit for kings was prepared by Tom Ren's "Tommy's Bodacious BBQ" and Mike's wonderful wild game of: wild boar sausage and peppers, elk lasagne, pheasant piccata and several other fun dishes were served and completely devoured. Compliments to the chefs!

Next to the grill is Danny, Tom's sous chef. In this picture is Chef Tom, Sean Plumb (Mike's banker and Rob's guitar instructor and Linda Lopez, friend of Barb's). A memoriable night for sure. Thanks to the good Lord for letting this all happen.

Rob's first Boy Scout weekend camping trip. He is making so many new friends and learning so much, it is awesome! Each boy was divided into teams for cooking meals. Here he is cooking Friday's night's dinner. On Saturday, the boys went on a 5 mile hike. Harley the wonder dog went along too.

Boy Scout Troop 514's First Official Outing... fly fishing. When it comes to fishing, Rob is a natural, just like Grandpa.

The 5th Grade Rhythm's Demonstration: square dancing and tinikling (a folk dance of the Philippines).
