Spring Break 2008 - ain't it great !

PARTY TIME ! Robbie had one of his buddy's stay over Wednesday night, Mason. Mom took Robbie and Mason, to Casa Bonita for dinner. Stacey and Randy were able to join us as well, Mom's friend from middle school/high school and her husband. :-) On Thursday we went to Putting Edge for some glow-in-the-dark golf. Stacey joined us again. It was fun. We were being silly. The boys just rolled their eyes at us. After lunch at California Pizza kitchen, we went home for some more chess and then PS2 ATV tag. All in all, a pretty fun day. Even Harley had a friend sleep over, Champ. Look how big he is now! Almost 6 months old.

On Saturday, Robbie, wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt, and I went to hit a bucket of golf balls at the local golf course. Then we went on a bike ride. This morning, we woke to snow. Love Colorado weather!

Easter 2008

LIFE ANEW - THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL !

We celebrated Easter with family and friends...Gussie, Jasmine, Daphne, Tom, Drew, Duncan and Amanda.

As always, lots of food, fun, friendship and festivities! Robbie put on a special Easter egg hunt for his cousins, Jasmine and Daphne, and Drew's kids, Duncan and Amanda. It was tough! Fun to watch, that's for sure.

Robbie's team finished 8-3, making it to the semi-finals. They started off slow but came together quickly and ended their season fantastically. On his team were 5 of his closest friends.

Cub Scout Snow Mountain YMCA Ranch Trip

The Cub Scouts went to on a winter weekend trip to Snow Mountain YMCA Ranch in February. Here is Robbie learning to cross-country ski. Our friend Susan Buth took her son, Jeremy, and Robbie out for a stroll. Mike stayed at the lodge and I was at home, sick unfortunately. However, both kids are naturals at the sport and had an awesome time and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend itself. We are so blessed to be a part of scouting. It offers so many great opportunities.

Mike prepared a fantastic Christmas dinner that we shared with Mike's buddy, Tom (with Champ) and with Barb's sister and nieces; Gussie, Jasmine and Daphne. Robbie got an electric scooter from Santa. Pretty cool!

Cub Scouts "Color Guard... ATTENTION !"

Being involved in Cub Scouts, we are reminded of our deep appreciation for our country's freedom that we value and hold so dearly. Amoung our experiences and emotions, one we enjoy is humor. Scouting is not only educational but fun as well. Here, in the November Pack Meeting, the top 3 popcorn fundraiser sellers, were able to throw whipped cream pies at the Den Leader of their choice. Who is a Den Leader?????
