Rob's Valentine's Day Class Party

We followed the Ranch trip with a quick day trip to the nearby Sol Vista Ski Area. First pic is Barb, Myra (Dean and Mitch's Mom) and Becky (Hunter's Mom). Second picture: CJ, Dean, Rob, Bill (Dean and Mitch's Dad), Mitch, Hunter and on the ground is Heath (Hunter's Dad) and Jack.

OK, ok.... so 2010 started off with a slight 'bump.' Heck, isn't that what insurance is for? Rob was playing with a couple buddies and ended up with 3 staples in his head. He will certainly have a lot to tell his classmates when they finally go back to school after being off for 2-1/2 weeks. At least it wasn't an arm!

After Grammy left for warm and sunny Florida, we left for some game time in Las Vegas. First stop, the M&M store. Then, on to the Sahara where Mike and Rob drove the NASCAR simulator cars for hours. They were in piggy heaven. They played the little arcade ones once while waiting for the big simulators to open. They must have raced at least 5 times.

Gotta have some pool time. We stayed at The Venetian.

Time for stockings... Gloria brought some heavenly 'Norman Love Confections.' They are out of this world and certainly a Christmas treat to be repeated in coming years.
