Today was Rob's Back-To-School Meet 'N Greet and Ice Cream Social Night. He meet his teacher, put his supplies away and got to catch up with friends. After the meet 'n greet, it was time for ice cream.

School starts Monday!

On Saturday, August 15, we hosted Rob's 1st Annual End of Summer Party/Sleepover. Bryce, Zach, Hunter and Jacob came over for some fun. Following dinner, we went to the local yearly festival for games, rides and fireworks. After that, it was time for chocolate chip cookies, cold milk and a movie. I went to bed at 11:15 p.m. Not sure what time the boys finally went to sleep.

We went to watch Tom and his buddies in a BBQ competition in Dillion. A beautiful day for a trip to the hills. Rob even tried a little bunging jumping. Made my stomach turn just watching him. Our little dare-devil. :-)

MINNESOTA OR BUST !

Grandma, Grandpa and Rob left Colorado on Thursday, May 28th. They went to visit Joe Larkin and family in Fargo for Joe's newest family member's, Allianna, dedication ceremony. Then, on to International Falls Sunday afternoon May 31st, with Nathan as well. Rob and Nathan helped Grandma and Grandpa get the cabin cleaned and ready for the summer. Then Nate left to go back home. Rob was with Grandma and Grandpa for 15 days straight. At that point, Mike and I, with Harley and Tulle in tow, show up, Sunday, June 21, in the RV for a few days.

Captain Rob hits the paddle boat (over and over). Later on, Mike and Robbie went out to enjoy a paddle boat ride... do you think they know the boat is listing heavily to one side???

So, all in all, Rob, building wonderful memories and sharing priceless time with Grandma and Grandpa, was away from Mom and Dad for 24 days and away from home for a grand total of 31 days. Grandma and Grandpa certainly have the patience of two very strong saints!

While heading North, Grandma and Grandpa Larkin stopped for a few days. We had some family portraits taken. They left the next day taking Rob with them for 3 WEEKS! What an adventure all will have.
